Following several demands of our customers, we have developed a JoomSEF3 extension which allow the generation of SEF URLs for JFusion in Frameless mode.
JoomSEF is a SEO component (Search Engine Optimization) for Joomla! Which permit to rewrite urls to ease the comprehension of the purpose and content of one or all pages of a web site by search engines like Google, Yahoo and others...
This is very important and even essential for new sites or forums which open recently and need a more complete webranking.
This JoomSEF3 extension does not only work with a single forum, but with 3 different forums which are "phpBB 3.xx", "SMF 1.xx (Simple Machines Forum)", and "vBulletin 3.xx" !
We have added some functions to allow the insertion of the forum name, subject name and even the members name in the url.
We give you the advice to use this extension for "phpBB 3.xx" forum and "SMF 1.xx (Simple Machines Forum)", because we met some bugs with the "vBulletin 3.xx" plugin of Jfusion. The official site says that there will not be any new version for release number 4.xx because "vBulletin 4.xx" is way too much heavy to work efficiently with JFusion in Frameless mode and the developer's team decided to stop working on Frameless mode of "vBulletin 4.xx" and it probably won't change.
For "SMF 2.xx" it is more positive, the developer's team just waits the release of a stable version to begin to work on a "SMF 2.xx" plugin which is rather logical to avoid multiple modifications.
